Designed and modelled an Antikythera-inspired gear mechanism in Autodesk Inventor Pro. The project involved creating a functional gear assembly with correctly constrained rotating components using gear ratios, shafts, carriers, and supporting parts to control motion. I developed the model beyond a basic gearbox by focusing on mechanical interaction, assembly structure, and visual presentation. This included material appearances and animation to demonstrate how the system moved. This strengthened my CAD modelling skills, understanding of gear systems, and ability to present complex mechanical assemblies.
